This show presents some impressive surrealistic landscapes. They create a vast space and form an atmosphere of unusual silence. For example, one of the paintings depicts an endless distance in space. The sky has lighter tonalities of mauve colour. There is desertlike land with areas of light blue and yellow ochre. An egg-like shape in placed vertically on the right side in the painting. This shape has curvilinear patterns. Similarly, a tyre-like object and blue and green stripped is also placed on a flat ground in another painting. The artist excels in this type of landscapes. The exhibition closes on December 26. |
